Muck Removal and Spreading
Manure has value as both a soil conditioner and a good source of plant nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium), it’s organic matter is considered to be a fertiliser. Properly managed manure applications recycle nutrients to crops, improve soil quality, and protect water quality. The timing of manure spreading needs to be considered carefully to minimize the risk of runoff and maximize the potential uptake of the nutrients. Manure spreading is not permitted during periods of snow and high rainfall, to protect sensitive fishery resources.
Application rates need to reflect the plant’s nutrient needs and soil’s absorption capabilities. We offer an efficient and effective service to either mechanically collect and remove your muck lump or spread it on your fields.
Whilst muck lumps are incredibly unsightly, we can construct a discreet yet practical muck clamp to help keep the appearance of your yard tidy and enable the ease of emptying.
